Scam caller spoke with foreign accent phishing for personal details

Rang but didn’t leave a message, number is from Victoria

Caller: Annoying annoyer!

Unknown, unsolicited, unasked for, unrequested, annoying, waste of time, space and energy. Even just ignoring them is annoying!

Caller: Scammer or other dubious

Don’t answer & Block the number. & if you have number blocking software use a rule that blocks the first six digits of the 8 digit sequence as sometimes the scammers jump a few digits as their success runs out. Eg block calls from 03442446xx

dodgy robo-call on election voting preferences "press 1 if you'll vote labor, press 2 if......etc." I always press a number that doesn't match one of their options, just to mess with their software. This isn't about genuine research, it's just about manipulating our votes

Definitely another scam call not from Morong Victoria as indicated. Call has been blocked but Optus should be doing more to block the scam calls with the prefix 03 44XX XXXX

Caller: Scam. Didn't leave message. Victorian (03) number. rang 6.10 pm.

My rule is simple. Unknown numbers do not get answered. They go to a message bank that doesn't even tell them my first name. Just "Leave a message".
If they are genuine they leave a message and I return their call. If they are sellers or scams, they don't leave a message and never even get a "Pickup" from me.

They are mainly searching for elderly Australians, so if they dont even hear your real voice they know nothing. Get a 17 year old to place your message bank message.

Called twice within a couple of hours. No message left

Who calls at 10am on a Sunday? Scammers do.
I didn't pickup, the didn't leave a message. We may never meet but we shared a moment.

This number is a scam. DON'T answer. They never leave a message. They are just out "fishing!"

Called saying my number was getting deactivated in a robo foreign voice

Usual suspect annoying scam call, ring and hang up no message.
