Received a text from 'CommBank' with a code for Bpay request to 'FM CARDS LTD'. Says to call this number if I didn't request a code, which I didn't. Was looking to see what came up. Dodgy

Apparently from CommBank for a BPAY request, stating a reference number and asks to call back. Very dodgy.

Commbank SMS stating a bpay request code and if you did not request it then call. Had phone number and a bogus ref. reported it to commbank

Indian woman indicating she was from the Australian Bureau of Statistics wanting to confirm my personal details. When I asked the purpose of the call and told her I was not comfortable giving her my details, she hung up. Number is busy or disconnects immediately. Scammer!

Sounds like a scam. they said they were from the Aust. Bureau of Statistics...???
