Caller: "Amazon" apparently

Answered. Got a pre-recorded message saying an order valued at $249 is on its way to me, and that if I hadn't ordered anything, to call this number back.

I haven't ordered anything.

My bank account isn't showing any payments out and I'm not going to call them back for the risk of a reverse charge scam.

I recommend not to answer and not to call back.

Will update here if in the unlikely circumstance it turns out to be legit.

This call from ‘Kyneton’ Vic, supposedly Amazon Prime and just for something different, the annual subscription fee of $249- will be debited from my acc. I have been receiving stupid calls for months from Amazon(?) usually $49- or $79 is to be debited but now they’re going for the big bucks! 🙄 I’m on DNC register, have blocked about 30 numbers, do not have Amazon prime (or Amazon anything) and they just keep coming! I don’t even pick up anymore but they do leave messages. Time wasting scammers!!!! I’m bloody sick of it!
