Caller: Castlemaine Bitter 4.45 on a Friday arvo… who are these people? They ring but never leave a message. The phone says they’re calling from Castlemaine: best pies there are from the bakers in town. The pie shop pies are overrated. Would mind a pie for my dinner. Maybe they’ll let me catch a train to Laverton. Top pies at Laverton shops. Blocked.

Caller: Ken and Ian I'm sorry Granny Vic didn't pick up this number as it is a great winery at Harcourt near Castlemaine called Blackjack Wines. They are decent people and genuine; unfortunately much of their stock was lost in a fire in January 2026. If they call again please answer and say g'day - they may have a bottle of wine with your name on it!
