Purporting to be from NBN. Wants appointment to run fibre optic from street to home. I will receive, at no cost, new modem and telephone. Technician calling will be Richard Martin with Id # RM06786.
Then wanted to confirm my address???? he had no idea where he was calling. I then terminated the call.
All sounded very plausible, until the end. Take care folks.

The were calling to offer me a $45saving on my account monthly....
Obviously overseas caller.

Caller with an Indian accent started by claiming they can reduce my telephone bill by 45%. I just hung up. Definitely a scam number.

Was an automated message saying I have unauthorised visa transactions, which is not true and wanting me to push buttons to go through. SPAM!!!

Called to say my phone service is going to be terminated in two hours

My phone rang at 7.45pm. A male with no accent said ; You have won a holiday related to the form that you filled in , I said I have not filled in any forms , He said it may have been some time ago and you have forgotten or someone put your name and address on the form . I said Not possible and hung up .
