I have had the same thing with odd numbers and locations including Tennyson, Gerang Gerung and Glenisla all in Victoria supposedly. I have not answered any of them!!

seems like a scam call, also got same call from (03) 4427 9244; (03) 4327 9744

One of about eight numbers in the last three days starting with the Victorian area code but number starting with 4 - they call but hang up when answered. Giving areas like Tennyson as the location.

Sick of these scam calls - these numbers over the past few days: (03) 4327 9844, (03) 4050 7557, (03) 4327 9744, (03) 4427 9244

You would think the Telco's could do something about this ....

Rang did not answer no message left. If the number is not in my contact list I don’t answer. If it is a legitimate call they will leave a voice mail..

They hung up immediately so I think they were testing if my number was active

I answered one of these but I’ve had quite a few from various locations Gerang Gerang or Marong or this one Glenisla. The one I answered had a recorded message discussing a VISA security issue or some nonsense like that. DEFINITELY IGNORE!

Did not leave a message. This one of a number of calls I have received which are from strange locations in Victoria - Glenisla - which starts with the number 4. All appear to be suspect!!

Just rang, from Glenisla - which if you didn’t know, is a sheep station out in the Wimmera established in 1843 - didn’t answer and no message left. Blocked it.

Consistently calling over the past four days on landline after 7pm - unknown number so not answered - doesn’t leave a message- do not call register ineffective
