Caller: said name was John Morris Said he was from NBN and wanted to help with my internet speed. did not know my ip address, then wanted me to log on to some obscure internet address, when I refused, he hung up

Caller: Male caller This call showed as coming from Dadswell's Bridge, Vic. When I answered there was a long silence, followed by a "plop" sound and background noise of a call centre. A man's voice (with a very strong Indian accent) told me that he was from NBN and asked if there were any problems with the internet speed in my area. I told him that everything was working properly, he then became impatient started pressing me for more information, wanting the sort of technical info that I had no access to. I told him that I wasn't interested in continuing the conversation and hung up. I would say this was definitely a scam of some sort.
