Another Supposed Tax fraud ATO SCAM number - do not call back

Recorded message from the Tax Office - must call them back immediately - regarding fraud and tax evasion - OH NO!

Another rotter in the system! I hope they receive a few illuminating calls!

Received 2 messages today already via a work phone line! American filipino accent, apparently from the ATO, regarding tax fraud and evasion. Disregard at all costs!!

Had the same recorded message as all the other comments to this number, from two different "O3" numbers. I just call barred them both.

I just got this same call on my answering machine saying criminal charges are being laid against me for tax evasion and fraud. I'm on a pension and don't work, and the ATO office owes me money for family tax benefit reconciliation!

Got the same message after arriving home. Glad to read others have the same crap. If I get the message again I might ring back with a good story

Also have received 2 messages regarding the ATO - same Filipino accent - call back urgently before the sheriff arrives to arrest me - have a blessed day at the end. Sounds like a scam. Is there anyone we can report this to?

I suggest call them back (only if your number is private) and then play them recordings from this site..

I contacted them and knew it was aSCAM after 10 minutes of hearing the Tax Officer (from India) read out all his rules for me to pay the uncollected tax. When I said to report it to police, he swore at me. I guess this Indian gentleman has no manner.

Got an aggressive message left on answering machine saying that I was being investigated for tax evasion/fraud and I had to ring back immediately. Had me worried because I push the boundaries a little. Rang back and said "I think you are a scam" and they hung up.

The police should be given this number,call them and pose as a poor worried person that has to meet them and then we exterminate them.
Then everybody will be happy.

Just very aggressive caller from ATO not!!! Scared the hell out of my 12 year old as they told him I was going to jail.

Have had this call four times in the last two days... answered the last one hoping to tell them what I thought of them but no one there so can't even have the pleasure of doing that...
