Scammer rang five times in a minute. Automated call from offshore call centre. fake Bairnsdale number which keeps changing its last few digits

Just received call from this number. Did not answer the call. As expected it is already reported here eighteen times. This is clearly becoming a widespread annoyance to many. I report all bogus calls to endeavour to build an anecdotal record of the extent of this problem in the hope something will be done to stop the rot.

Said they were from Amazon Web Services and needed our help recruiting Network and Security professionals for Amazon, knew alot about me (via LinkedIn) and wanted more of my details

Missed the call. Rang back which had a recorded message from My Charity Survey.com. Call also comes in other landline numbers. So far I have had the same recorded message on (03) 5915 9759 and (03) 9961 0713

Caller: ? Charities direct.

Been receiving calls from similar prefixed numbers (Bairnsdale). Rang and as soon as started to go to messagebank they hung up. Rang back, message says an agent is unable to take your call!

Says they are from Google. Got my name and email from somewhere.

3 calls over 5 minutes. Answered once - long pause then hung up. Scammer

Caller: They call themselves My Charity Survey

They had all my personal details and knew a lot about me. They wanted to know which charities I supported or would support. Very poorly trained as when I asked questions they just repeated their script.

Didn’t recognise the number so I didn’t pick up the call. Too many scam calls. Caller did not leave a message. I checked here to see numerous complaints about this number, confirming my suspicions, so I’ve blocked the number.

the message also says press 2 to remove from list but they just call from another number!

When I answered they hang up, multiple calls every day.

Scam call. Received several calls from Bairnsdale with slightly different numbers.

Call received from this number. No message recorded. Found it has been reported multiple times here already.
