Scam

This number is the worst number I've encountered. Even though I've blocked it, it managed to call me three times today. It seems like scammers' technology is becoming more aggressive and dreadful.

Caller: AGL

Said I owe money... idont have AGL account

Caller: Claimed to be AGL

amount owing, wrong name, clearly a poor attempt to get credit card details by making over phone payment

Caller: Scammer

AGL don’t call, they text you. They especially don’t call you from Buchan. I’ll call AGL myself and ask if they called, my gas is due next week and elec in a fortnight. Hopefully they can get something done about it. 2 calls and multiple scam texts every day is ridiculous.
If you’re on the don’t call list you need to renew it every 6-12 months.

After looking at the comments and this morning having checked my own agl bills - definitely scammers who left a mumbled message.

I recently left agl and received a call from this number.
This is definitely a scam. He had the wrong amount owing. Tried to tell me an amount that was incorrect that I paid monthly. Then suddenly tripled the amount I owed.

Stupid Stupid People...AGL...Debt Collecting Service...Shame They Were Never There When I Needed Them...Shame On You AGL !

Keeps saying that “Tim Morgan” account has $300ish due.

Very frustrating.

Definite scam. Block or have fun with them. Never confirm your details or give them any details.

AGL If you can be bothered accept the call but don't answer or speak you'll get hello hello hello ...click :) takes awhile but they go away

AGL Harrassing you, I blocked one number, now calling on this number.

Caller: Agl

Calling on behalf of power direct. Harassing me for the past two months. The account owner is dead and a solicitor has already contacted power direct about it, as well as me telling them he's dead. They continue to ask to speak to him (not kidding) and call several times a day. Making grieving that much harder.
