Suspicious calling pattern…

Called saying something about i may have knowingly or unknowingly lost money due to people gaining my information and using it to illegally solicit funds etc. and that they could help me get it back. Seemed like absolute rubbish so hung up

Missed call at 1.35 AM. Rang the next morning and got a message that “ Optus advises that the mobile number you are calling is not in service “

South African accent. Asks to talk about blockchain and when replying not interested, was abusive

You know it’s a dodgy call when you get someone calling from a Victorian number and the location shows up to be from NSW.

SCAM

Despite the number, call was originated from Balranald, New South Wales. Said they were investigating to return funds previously lost through a company which was trading without a licence. Wanted some financial information to verify that I was the person entitled. I asked them to send a message outlining what they required and why, she then hung up.
