Scam call. Block it straight away

Caller: Recorded message purporting to be Origin Energy directing me to press one without any explanation.

Require more up front information these days before I start pressing buttons on devices.

Thanks for the updates. I have had multiple calls daily regarding outstanding account ( which is my issue entirely) but the number of calls is unreasonable. no message left just a digital voice asking me to enter personal information. No thanks :(

Pretty sure its Origin energy that called me as they are chasing me for unpaid gas bill. Of course it could that they are sharing the number with a scammer who is pretending to be Origin. But in my case it was actually Origin about a very overdue payment. Also, I have paid and the calls have stopped but they were persistent. i fully support it being viewed as a scam as it is the sh!ttiest way to conduct a business calling 5 times a day. Shame on Origin, i am changing energy providers once i pay your extortion.

Didn’t answer. Area code is for Victoria (03) but location said the middle of nowhere in NSW.

went to message bank as an unknown number, recorded service asking to push buttons, must be a scam, called twice today

Yes, same here. I forgot to pay my bill and I had numerous calls from this number but no message which is annoying.

Genuine Origin phone number. My payment plan is coming to an end & asking if I'd like to start paying ¼ly bills. not a scam at all.

Yet another pest - the ten thousandth? - butting into my life when it isn't important enough for them even to speak. Scammer behaviour. Sick to death of it.

Apparently this number is credit corp in Western Australia. I have never lived there or have any debt in that state. I have blocked them on various numbers numerous occasions.

Second time they've called today without leaving a voice message at all. Just block.

So annoying!!! Over these scammers
