Scam Call

I didn't answer the number when it called the first time because it wasn't on my contact list. However, it called again almost immediately after hanging up, so I thought it might be important and decided to answer. A woman with a very thick (African?) accent claimed to be with the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and surprisingly pronounced my name in Mandarin Chinese. She went on to say that the AFP had been informed by China Customs that they had intercepted a parcel being sent to a person named G**** L** in Guangzhou. According to her, the parcel contained marijuana and a debit card with my name on it.

Several suspicious details made me believe it was a scam call:

She claimed she was calling from Canberra, but my iPhone indicated that the number was from Underbool, Victoria.
The street name and number of the address she mentioned matched the place I stayed during my first year in Australia, which was 11 years ago. When I asked for the full address, including the state and postcode, she seemed to be typing to search for details online. She then claimed the address was in Queensland with a postcode starting with 4***, whereas the actual place I stayed is in NSW.
Initially, she kept insisting that I go to the police station. When I mentioned that the AFP is in Canberra and I don't live nearby, she told me to go to the local police station where I live. In hindsight, I realised she was probably trying to get me to reveal the name of my suburb.
I hung up, but she called back again, likely because she thought I was gullible since I had stayed on the call for a few minutes. However, her story became even more absurd. She claimed that the AFP would investigate the marijuana, to which I responded that it was their job as police and they should do so. But then she said I would need to contact the local police in Guangzhou, China—my hometown and the city where the alleged parcel was sent—so that they could investigate the alleged bank card. This is where her story completely fell apart...
