I received a call from 0011976000, offering a government rebate. I smelled a rat when they wanted to confirm my personal details. When I asked for more information about the rebate, I was passed onto a supervisor who asked me if the first person I spoke to had been polite. When I asked for more information about the scheme, I was then passed onto a 3rd person, asking if the other 2 people had been polite. No information given, more than likely...a scam! In the end, I just laughed, told them I thought they were scammers and I hung up.

I let most calls go thru to answer machine. Never answered these calls, but when I do *69 is says the number is 0011976000, which I assumed was an overseas number(?). They call at least once a day. I have a silent number, which obviously makes no difference to these people. They never leave a message.

Man called Christian Adams offering government rebate by going online to alliancefahcsia.gov.au and completing personal details. Also told that a woman called Stella would call back to confirm if i was eligable once i had been online and submitted my personal details. BEWARE SCAMMERS!
