This number belongs to First Data who looks after BWAMS Eftpos Facilities and also Cashcard ATMs. They have a project at the moment going through updating every account to make sure they have the most up to date contact details as a lot of the accounts are old and have outdated information.

If you ring the number it goes to their Reception in North Sydney. It is not a SCAM and why not call the number back instead of jumping to conclusions ;)

I also opened an account with BankWest recently.... I didn't pick up this call though

Why would someone from Bank West be 'phoning to confirm my contact data?' This phone number has 'SCAM' written all over it.....

I called it back.. another credit card/banking scam..I've recently opened accounts with BankWest and HSBC (who I've definitely had spam calls from already).

Called my mobile which has a newly issued number (well new to me anyway).  No message.
