I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message, but I called them back next morning and the recorded commercial type female recorded announcement said "this mailbox is full ..." etc
Becoming typical that some baddie dials whoever they want from another number and it appears as another normal family or business number. The poor families or business gets abusive calls back even after trying to get Telstra to correct the situation.
This number used to be Perry family back in in 2018.
Telstra.. cant you do something??

Caller: Do Not Call Register

Indian accented voice, said he was from the National Do Not Call Register, rattled on about scam calls from overseas and that he was going To block my number, they would provide me with a ph number to ring if I got any scam/telemarketing calls and they would take legal action. I asked how he could take legal action if the call comes up with no caller I’d. (I couldn’t understand his explanation, went on about scam callers from overseas & something about internet) also, when I asked him for the number told not to worry they would send it to my address. (Was waiting for him to ask or confirm my address but he didn’t) so I looked the ph no up here, says it’s located in Freshwater he said Chatswood, so I rang ph number and got an answer machine, sounded like a personal home ph NOT a business.
I have had this before where somehow someone is using someone else’s ph number, I missed a call, rang number back and person was driving and had not rung anyone.

Not sure what the actual purpose of this call was for, except perhaps to confirm my name, as that is the only thing.
