I have been trying to find this fabulous product. I have been using it for many years myself as I am an IRONING LADY and work from home. I have been trying to get some of this "Iron Easy" since mid November, shopping at fifteen different shops with no explanation as to why it wasn't available, or if and when it might.

Coles and Woolworths no longer have your starch product on their shelves.Where in Brisbane can I purchase this product ?

I am also trying to find a retailer that sells Pearsons Concentrated starch.

For disappointed Pearsons Ironing starchusers - i've found a replacement product that I'm happy with.
Sonett Starch spray and ironing aid made from organic products and available in Australia online direct from the company at a reasonable price.
This spray contains rose geranium and lavender essential oils and smells divine.

I rang Steric this morning (the manufacturers of Pearsons) they explained that the site that made Pearsons Starch was closed down. They still receive about 2 calls per day, still asking how to get hold of it. I've started mixing my own ,using powdered starch.

Where can I find Pearsons in Brisbane? Cant find it in Coles

I have been trying to buy Pearson's starch everywhere, but cannot buy it. Like everyone else, I have been using this product forn many years. I tried phoning Pearson's and got a Cafe. Theys said that the number ist theirs and they are receiving calls for Pearson's all the time. So what's going on Pearson's ? At let your customers know.

Where do you get powdered starch and how do you make it ?

So disappointed another great Australian product is gone! It worked so well. Have been hunting all over. Another point recently when shelves are so low on stock (particularly) in Woolies. Very few other products than Woolies own brand. Fed up with their monopoly.

About to use my last dose of Pearsons Concentrated Laundry Starch. Boo Hoo! Maybe we will see a return to Australian made goods after Covid, let`s hope so.

I been looking everywhere since. Now with this page I found out, the company closed.
What a pity, I liked this product.

This product was so good by the other comments from other happy users why oh why hasn't someone else started making it.

When my son joined the army in 1988 he introduced me to Pearsons Iron Easy. He used it on his uniform and I love it for my ironing. I have just finished my last bottle and have been looking for months for a new bottle. Cant find it in Coles or Woollies. Will try IGA next time I am near one.

Loved Pearsons Ironing starch but it appears no longer available anywhere. I have found a replacement product from a company called Sonnet - an environmentally conscientious company who makes laundry products from organic products and reasonably priced.
I love their Starch spray and ironing aid made from certified organic vegetable starch which smells divine as they use rose geranium and lavender essential oils.
Friends have actually commented on how nice my clothes smell.

Order this and other laundry products online. Hope it fills the Pearsons product gap

Hi Hazel. I'm glad that I scrolled down and found your message. Why is it that it always seems to be the products that work (ie: do as they claim) that get the chop? Such a shame to lose another Australian product. Guess I will have to try and make my own as I do not like those on offer on our supermarket shelves.
