The number is being used by some scammer trying to gain access to homes supposedly to check gas meters.

Caller: Gemena Gas

Gemena Gas owns the gas infrastructure that energy companies (like AGL, Origin, etc) resell to consumers.

They are generally the ones that will check meters and call to gain access to resolve or replace problems with their infrastructure

Caller: Some lady called, as a contractor hired by AGL

Some lady called, with all my private details, telling me they were coming to check the meters. I was suspicious when they said they were coming into my apartment to check the hot water system, and it's NOT in my apartment. I double checked with STRATA and they knew nothing. Obviously a scam.
