same . The number kept calling .I didn't return the calls and went online to search the number which did not show up as a valid number. came up on my phone as possible scam

Caller: HSBC employee Call from legitimate HSBC employee who'd assisted me in the branch. But she left messages twice with no way for me to return the call, and not indicating what it was about. When I phoned the HSBC call center, they had no record of anyone attempting to call me.

Caller: Scam call HSBC Indian lady called - said that someone has mistakenly deposited money into my HSBC debit card. Err told her - don’t have any HSBC account. Hung up.
