Thanks for all the above - same pattern of behavior.  Their calls keep coming in despite my mobile number being on the Federal Government's "Do Not Call Register" since the Register started.  I do not respond to unknown callers - if it is important enough for the caller to ring then it is important enough for them to leave a message but this is something (02) 9762 8333 cannot do as they have made an unsolicited and unwanted call.  How can the Feds be brought in to investigate these people and shut down them down or 'fine' them as the Feds think appropriate?

Confirmed, friend received a call from them today.

I received a call asking on my mobile (which I DO NOT hand out - it's a very private number)  about whether I wanted life insurance, a company called "Real Insurance". I asked "how did you get my number?"
Real Insurance: From the electoral role
Me: How do you go about that?
RI: We buy it from the electoral role
Me: That sounds highly illegal.
