Overpriced furniture run by uncompromising, stone cold management. We paid a deposit of $200 with the balance $550 to be paid upon delivery. The first indication that not all was right was when we were requested to pay the balance in cash instead of credit card for "tax" purposes!

A week or so later we ran into some financial difficulty and contacted the store to request a refund of the $200 deposit, as the stock was still sitting on the floor. They straight out refused at first. After much pleading they agreed to give a credit note for the deposit.

When we got to the store, they then shocked us by saying that we have to pay the full $750 now to get a stored credit!?!!? How does that even make sense? So we have to pay $750 now to use it later??? What! Really??

The whole reason we were cancelling was because we didn't have the cash in the first place, other wise we would have bought the item! After arguing for 30 minutes, we walked out of the store feeling robbed of $200 for which we got absolutely nothing! It's not like we re asking for the refund, we would have been happy with a credit note, so that when we can we would eventually buy something from their store!

Daylight robbery without a sliver of consideration. Pathetic! Would never be back and would not recommend to anyone! Stay away from Mango Tree Furniture in Auburn!
