Answer the call, silence then a machine says 'Goodbye' and hangs up. This is about the 4th number used by these oxygen wasters.

they ring, sounds like noisy call centre and when they realise its a business they are calling they just hang up in my ear. Do they not know we have caller id display to show who they are???

Same problem for me. Background noise was so high that they could not be understood. Claimed to be Telstra. Suggested that they fix their end first. Dropped out and they did not return the call.

Told them that I am not prepared to do anything until I spoke to my son about this. He found a warning by Scamwatch and Telstra warning about such scammers. Called them back to find out who they say is the account holder. My wife also got a called from Queensland number last evening as a missed called back but when I called back it just went to message as it did with this number
