These people have been calling me for over two months asking to speak with several different people. When I tell them they have the wrong number or ask how they obtained my number they advise it is a personal business matter and they cannot discuss this with me. They then ask how long I have had my mobile number for, when I tell them over 15 years, they still ask if I know the person they are calling about.
These people are absolutely ridiculous!!

It is a company called CreditCorp who are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Like Violet above, I have paid a lump sum and now paying a weekly payment via direct debit, yet they still call me and harass me for who know's what. They have even called my workplace which I have no idea how they got that number. They call off of random mobile numbers which I will try and call back but get a message saying this person is unavailable. They have called me numerous times off random land line numbers as well which I wont answer unless I know who is calling and do not leave any messages. They are an absolute disgrace!

Hello yes everyone is right it is credit corp calling you, we will call or text at any time, we will use our own personal mobiles to call you at 9pm at night,& block the number we do this because we know if you complain about us ringing you cant prove it, we will ring your boss at work & discuss your account with them even though we know its against the law, we will google your name & get phone  number of your family and friends,& harass them  we do this because we bought a debt in your name we only paid 25c in the dollar for the debt in the 1st place, then we line our pockets when we make unrealistic payment plans that suit us. we never listen to what you say & will talk over the top of you so we cant hear what you are saying, we do this because we dont care about your situation. We will try & collect debts that are over the stature of limitations, & we will try everything to collect it, we will threaten you with legal action even though we know theres nothing we can do about it. we will send the sheffif around to see you & we only do this so we can addd more costs onto the account, we will write good reviews about ourselves, because we know our client wont. other than that we are really nice people so next we ring and you hear our voices or we say its credit corp calling hang up on us or answer your phone put it down & walk away have it on speaker phone so you can hear us rambling on & after 5 mins we will hang when the penny finally drops that you are not listening

I am being plagued by Credit Corp too. According to them they have been authorised to call me to recover a debt that is not in my name. I guess they googled me and got my mobile number from somewhere on the internet. I have never dealt with a credit company and never will. The next step is to take out an intervention order on them and I'm deadly serious. Bring on the sheriff!

They are a debt collection agency
