claiming to be from a travel company etc travel. stated that I had filled in a form but I had not. Then wanted to show me that it was not a scam because he was repeating my address. hung up when said that i was reporting this as a scam call to aust gov scam reporting website

Caller: Joseph (Indian accent) scam travel agency

Congratulations! i've won a travel & holiday prize. Apparently I filled out my details somewhere and my ship has come in! Thats what this scamming caller has stated. By paying a small deposit of $99 I can then have my $700 travel voucher delivered to my home. On asking for more details about my "holiday" Joseph said I will be transferred to his travel Manager after paying the small deposit and all details of my gift will be explained. - I declined to pay the $99 deposit because I like to choose my holidays (when & where I want them). He got angry, called me a loser and accused me of wasting his time. I thanked him for thinking of me and said goodbye.

Tried re-dialing twice - call just rang out. No answer!

Stated had been picked for a discounted holiday voucher and was a special deal

Caller: Someone claiming to be from ECT Travel

This is the fourth call in a week or two. Asked if I remembered filling in a form of some sort for a travel voucher or something like that. I said I haven't ever filled in such a form. Asked if maybe a family member had done so. I said definitely not. He/she (I've had calls from both) said it didn't matter that I'd forgotten, because I've won a competition of some sort. I said it wasn't that I had forgotten; it was that I know for certain that I've never filled in any such form. I also said I thought they were making up all that stuff about a form. Anyway, I hung up in the end.

Didn't recognise number, didn't answer, no message left.

Caller: Fake travel agent with spoofed phone number

Holiday scam. Hang up on them.

SAME AS ANOTHER PERSON STATED...they phoned my LAND LINE & MY MOBILE @ the SAME TIME ???? !!!! I picked up the L/line, they hung up

Called me and had my name and address. Fake travel agency.

My phone filtered it out but from reports its scammer. Blocked permanently now.

Mary asked it she was talking to Mr or Mrs and said where she was from, I just hung up, Assume some type of scam

they did not leave a message

Rang my landline in WA at 5.35pm i picked the phone up but did not say anything. Within a second the line went dead. Another waste of time. Have blocked number and put answering machine on.

Did not give name for Telstra caller ID phone and did not leave a message.

Some bozo actually rang BOTH my mobile and landline at the same time! I answered the landline, but nobody responded...

he rang at 9pm and knew my name?

I didn’t answer as I didn’t know the number. Now blocked.
