(02) area code but entirely a recorded message in Chinese. Clearly not meant for me. (I understand there's been Chinese phone scams of late. Potentially this is linked to that?)

Chinese recorded voice....don’t answer

Second Chinese caller I've had in the last week. First one at least had the words "Chinese embassy" as the only ones spoken in english. As for this one, I had no idea what the heck they were saying! And I don't even have any friends from China!

This is a scam. Pre-recorded chinese (mandarin) message that states they are from the Chinese embassy and that there is a very important package to pick up. Ignore.

This group has been calling me multiple times per day, everyday for weeks, originally from a different number, I blocked the original number then they continued to call from this number and leave voice messages in Chinese Mandarin.
Relentless!
It seems to be a recorded message because if I answer it is exactly the same as the voicemail they leave. They do not answer a returned phone call/engaged/not connected.

Unknown female recorded voice in Mandarin. I read recently there is a scam targeting Chinese and suspect this is it. This number is now blocked on my mobile.

In Cantonese - Stating tax office and require you to go to a website. It’s a scam - bulk calls made in one go 6th June 2018
