Just got a call from an Indian female on my mobile claiming to be from Telstra Technical Dept advising....you know what.....my internet connection is problematic. Scam, Scam, Scam......and I told her so and hung up. Most likely 30 secs later she would be speaking to another potential target.

What is the point of being on the "Do Not Call" register if these scammers can call you all the time. Indian said she was from Telstra and I told her she wasn't and did she want to be fined $10,000 for calling me as I am on the register and she very quickly hung up.

I just had the call. She asked if I was with Telstra. I said if you are from Telstra you should know that. When I told her my phone was monitored by a technical support team and no hacking was reported to me and asked her for her phone number and Telstra reference so I could verify, the bitch hung up on me. How rude! lol

Also got the scam saying Telstra with regard to internet. I get this one all the time! Just realised that the line was funny at first and i kept saying hello but no one answered, then they asked "Can you hear me" and i said "yes" without thinking. Hopefully it isn't the scam where they record your voice saying "yes" then use it for other stuff.
