scam, something about internet connection - said no internet and they hung up

Asked if they just wanted my credit card number to cut out all of the usual scam crap. They hung up!!

Another scammer. Hung up when answered. Already phoned Telstra regarding a 03 number. Telstra won’t ring you regarding a technical problem unless you ring them. Won’t ring after hours either. These are false numbers.

Received two phone calls in one day, got some inaudible voice and then they hang up on the second occasion someone singing... so I hung up.

scam why do Telstra, or optus not shut these people down

claiming to be Telstra technical department relating to my Internet speeds it's all b******* call centre trying to rip people off these f****** scammers should get a life. I kept her on the phone as long as I could so that she wouldn't be on the phone potentially swindling someone else by the end of a call she seemed quite pissed off hahaha

This is a scam. Please hang up on these people. The callers claimed to be from Telstra. They claimed that my internet connection was being hacked and that I had downloaded virus software that would disconnect my internet service tomorrow, and that they could help me to solve this problem.

Caller hung up when I answered. Possibly scam
