Telco telemarketer - pushing to organise a 10 minute meeting for her manager to quote on 5g mobile and 30% discount off our existing phone accounts. Told them we are in contract for 12 months and she twice stated she will follow up in 6 months! Nuisance

Said she was from Optus. Her direct line 9435 4702, and when asked, said their main switchboard number is 9435 4708. Wanted to set up an appointment for their sales person to assess our mobile phones / landlines / NBN needs so they could offer a deal. None of the "deals" can be viewed on a website, nor can their offer be sent by email. I can't see that their phone numbers are part of Optus ... so I opt-ed out.

Caller: a couple of different people

Have been getting many calls from these people even after telling them not call again
they change numbers then people, when asked what company they are calling from they say due to privacy act ' that would be with regard to content not your company name
If they wont offer their company name then you know there not reputable.

Asked for the Manager and told me her name was "Sunshine" but wouldn't tell me where she was calling from. Or if she could leave her details (knowing she was telemarketer) I asked was she from a telco? and she hung up! Frustrating!!!

Called regarding the new 5G phone network in our area. Stated she was from the NBN. When I asked her to clarify and confirm exactly which company she was calling from she hung up.

Despite being told EVERY SINGLE time they have called that we do not want to change provider, I still get at least two or three calls every week. Serial pests and the more they harass, the less likely we are to ever use their services in future.
