Cold call from RFS seeking donations/raffle ticket sales. Called to a ph which is registered on do-not-call register.

same people again, saying they are "RFS" asking for donations, but they are NOT the NSW Rural Fire Service, they are scammers, they keep using new phone numbers, when you block them. They usually ring near dinner time. They blatantly ignoring Do Not Call Register, s definitely scammers.

called did not answer did not leave a message. Reading others looks like either a raffle raiser who charge 0.50c in the $ to the charity or a total scammer

6 calls in the last week from Rural Fire Service. They hang up when you answer. I think they have to make a certain number of calls per day to get paid, so they ring many numbers then hang up. That gets them their quota. They are pests.

Rural Fire Service selling raffle tickets

I have received 7 calls since 22 January but they do not leave a message.

I got the same as well. I think it is a machine calling to check if our number is a real person, and then added to a target list for someone to start calling to sell something. I heard they used such technique to test before dialing so that only the human being candidate numbers will be pre-selected.

Relentless calls from these jerks. Unsolicited.
