Caller: NBN Scam

Pretending to be National Broadband Network Co, unprompted they are able to provided full address and booking details of a scheduled Installation including Reference Number.

- National Broadband Network Co have somehow Released/Sold this information
They wanted to try and reschedule "my" appointment

voicemail said nbn but nbns website CLEARLY states they will never contact you directly, only your provider will:

they also did not leave a phone number to call back on, just said "call me back"

Claiming to be from NBN Co Booking, unprompted they were able to provide full address details including the booking date of pending installation, as well as the correct booking reference number.
Number is a SCAM / Identity Theft, reported to Scamwatch and NSW Police however I don't expect anything will come of those.

NBN Co have sold personal Details or have a data leak.

Message claimed that it was the NBN calling. Non-English accent, extremely low volume, message unable to be understood as volume got lower during the message. Male caller this time, but had a similar call last week from a female with a similar accent and same deal with volume decreasing during the message. Is this a ploy to get you to call the number back? The NBN company is a wholesaler and I believe any contact re NBN would be via retailers, so I suspect these calls are dodgy...
