Sent as a missed call text message: The call today in regards to some recognise (?) activity on your rewards(?) account. I checked my statement - nothing amiss, then rang back and was asked to call an international number. I haven't - seems odd but will check my account again in the morning.

It's Westpac Altitude Rewards customer service.

Caller: ANZ Rewards

Called me back from this number after the call on their hotline dropped. Genuine call but appears to be a centralised number for more than one rewards scheme hence the long waiting times....

Genuine call from the agency managing the free flight benefit for my ANZ credit card. They called to notify me of a change to my upcoming reward flight.

Genuine call about my flights. I had called them to book my travel rewards and they returned the call.

called me at midnight in Australia, came up on my phone as "sandra chapman tickets" i didnt answer as i WAS alseep when they called.

Rang wanting to speak to my husband regarding recent rewards redemption.
My husband would not give out details .The person did not want to give out reason for call at first. Said later it was because of unpaid amount for reward.
Checked later with bank and this is untrue. Thus concluded was a scam phishing for details

It was Westpac Mastercard Altitude Rewards Customer Service Centre, and it was a genuine call regarding an issue I asked them to contact me about.

It is a total scam call as I do not bank with Westpac and the fact that this company no long has any contract with Westpac, so they are trying to scam whoever they can for whatever they can.

Genuine call to advise of a flight change that was booked through ANZ Travel Rewards.

Pinpoint Pty Ltd - outsourced rewards provider for News Ltd (Plusrewards). This company also contracted to assist Westpac.

Not spam or scam, genuine calls.

Just got a missed call from this number. Will now block as very obvious that it's a rubbish call and I am not with westpac so must be fake crap!

I got a call from (02) 9352 3110.  They said they were my bank and wanted my personal information (DOB, address, etc).  When I told them I did not recognize their phone number and that I do not give out my personal details to everyone who calls out of the blue.I contacted my bank, and it was a legitimate call.  I asked why they had a telemarketing company calling me, they said to promote their rewards program. I said the best thing they could do was to set up a website for the rewards so I can log in and redeem without having telemarketers calling.I asked to have my telephone number removed from their telemarketing and to have them review their privacy plan.

I received a call today from them.  I called them back and got a machine saying it was Pinpoint doing "important research".  I left a message saying they had called a private number and I wanted to be removed.  Let's see if they do it.

Well who, le0pard??? goddammit. And what are you doing to stop this??
