You should only get calls from this number if you are a member of the Cellarmasters Wine Club, or any of the wine clubs that are administered by Cellarmasters, eg. ANZ Wine Club. This is why they use the generic 'your wine club' greeting if you phone the number back. They will be ringing to inform you of the latest special offers. They will never leave a message on an answering machine, but will keep trying until they actually reach you. Any calls that don't get through successfully, as some have reported above about calls hanging up, are due to typical glitches in the automatic dialler software.

I get a phone call morning and afternoon from your number. I answer the phone and get hung up on every day x twice a day. Please stop. Many thanks Helen

If this is Cellarmasters, as it appears to be from these posts, then all's good. Often I don't check the number when answering, but can't always get to the phone on time. I have purchased through them for years and have found them reputable and honest and with great deals on wine!

If this is Cellarmasters it will be the fourth number I have blocked from them. They never give up calling despite repeated requests to stop calling! How many lines do they have I wonder.

I've had several calls a day from this number and they just hang up when I answer. I stopped answering and they stopped calling but now they call from another number beginning in 9501.... Still keep hanging up.
Frustrating because they call my work phone!

Calls come from that number on my mobile at least twice a day and never answer when I answer.

I suspect that it is part of a burglar system whereby my presence at home is being checked.

They have called twice in two days and hung up both times. Frustrating.

I have been getting calls from this number every day for 7 days. The phone only rings a couple of times and i often don't get to it. When I do they hang up. Very annoying.

I am a member of one of their wine clubs and usually welcome the calls. If not convenient, then I either answer and tell them so (they ring back in a couple of weeks) or just reject the call without answering (they ring back next day). No hassle and I do buy the wine. Have been a member for 17 years or so, so I've had plenty of time to be P*ssed off (but aren't).

I get a call from these jerks almost every day and yesterday twice. Every time I answer they hang up. This is where we ought to have some laws focussed on stopping this harassment.

You can add their number to your reject list if your using a smart phone.. works wonders.

These people sometimes ring my mobile 3 times in a day....I've tried to get my number deleted from their list but so far no luck. It's harassment!

The 2nd or 3rd time I called back and waited through the recorded message to be able to tellthe seller to delete my name from their lists. I have since sent an email of complaint to the company - no response at all. Now I'm waiting to see what they charged me for the call - will it be normal mobile rates or will there be a special fee?

Have had a call from this number once each day for the last two days on my mobile - nobody there and then the land line rang and nobody there either - very annoying

Hey I actually work for these guys!
There is nothing nefarious here. We have no 'quota' of calls to make and we are not scamming you for your personal details. We are a wine sales mob.
We run an automatic dialler which has had its fair share of problems to be honest and we are hoping to update this as soon as possible.
If you are getting called by us repeatedly and dont wish to be, then just wait on the line for a little longer and then let us know. We will take you straight off the list.
We dont wish to hassle people and dont enjoy making people irate.
Of course we hope that you won't do this but rather will want to purchase some of our excellent wines!

Rather than complaining about how you have to try block the number and all that, just call back in and ask them to take you off the list. It's pretty damn simple. We're all humans here, people are still people whether they're on the phone or not. So there is no reasoning in being so rude to people who are just working and doing their job.

cellarmasters wine club. I had purchased once but unimpressed by service so chose not to continue. Only have my mobile for delivery purposes but now harrass me with sales calls sometimes trying 3 times a day last 5 months. Have now installed software to block the call so as not to not to bother me anymore. This willi also keep a log so I can make a case for harassment.
Give them 10/10 for persistence. Shame they didn't show that kind of passion when I was a client.

The company's name is Cellarmasters, as previously noted by craig, they run a lot of diffrent wine clubs in australia. they are totally legit,   they use an automatic dialler, so if it hangs up on you thats because someone else has picked up first.most importantly, if you don't want to receive these sales calls, simply call the number back and ask to be taken off the phone list!  (if you don't your number stays in the system and you'll keep getting calls)
