You should only get calls from this number if you are a member of the Cellarmasters Wine Club, or any of the wine clubs that are administered by Cellarmasters, eg. ANZ Wine Club. This is why they use the generic 'your wine club' greeting if you phone the number back. They will be ringing to inform you of the latest special offers. They will never leave a message on an answering machine, but will keep trying until they actually reach you. Any calls that don't get through successfully, as some have reported above about calls hanging up, are due to typical glitches in the automatic dialler software.

If this is Cellarmasters, as it appears to be from these posts, then all's good. Often I don't check the number when answering, but can't always get to the phone on time. I have purchased through them for years and have found them reputable and honest and with great deals on wine!

If this is Cellarmasters it will be the fourth number I have blocked from them. They never give up calling despite repeated requests to stop calling! How many lines do they have I wonder.

I've had several calls a day from this number and they just hang up when I answer. I stopped answering and they stopped calling but now they call from another number beginning in 9501.... Still keep hanging up. Frustrating because they call my work phone!

Calls come from that number on my mobile at least twice a day and never answer when I answer.
I suspect that it is part of a burglar system whereby my presence at home is being checked.

I have been getting calls from this number every day for 7 days. The phone only rings a couple of times and i often don't get to it. When I do they hang up. Very annoying.

I am a member of one of their wine clubs and usually welcome the calls. If not convenient, then I either answer and tell them so (they ring back in a couple of weeks) or just reject the call without answering (they ring back next day). No hassle and I do buy the wine. Have been a member for 17 years or so, so I've had plenty of time to be P*ssed off (but aren't).

I get a call from these jerks almost every day and yesterday twice. Every time I answer they hang up. This is where we ought to have some laws focussed on stopping this harassment.

The 2nd or 3rd time I called back and waited through the recorded message to be able to tellthe seller to delete my name from their lists. I have since sent an email of complaint to the company - no response at all. Now I'm waiting to see what they charged me for the call - will it be normal mobile rates or will there be a special fee?

Yeh it is cellarmasters and because they service ANZ, Qantas, DJ, Telstra etc etc just about every single wine club you can possibly think of they start out with "this is ...... from your wine club" I know I have heaps of different accounts with them because I always join to get the free case of beer or something from each company for being a new member. The then call you every other month because your wine club cares about you and wants you to know about it's specials etc. Look I have ordered enough wine from them to vouch for them they are fine but these days with the big supermarket chains owning the grog shops it must be hard for them to survive.

This is call from Cellarmasters a wine club that runs many wine clubs according to how you first joined up ie DJ's, brochures from cc's etc.The call centre works on an automatic dialler that calls customers. If it thinks it is an answering machine it hangs up. If it thinks you are about to answer and there an no operators to take the call it hangs up.It is not personal but the good thing is should you ever wish not to be called instead of abusing the person calling you I would suggest saying the follwoing magical words - Can you please take me off your call list.

At first the guy came up with a decent offer and I asked about shipping. He put me on hold then came back with a "better deal for [me]". I didn't agree so I asked for the first one, to which he put me on hold again. When he came back he told me he had been informed that it was no longer available.
This bait & switch followed by the vagueness of the guy was enough for me to politely decline and get back to work.

cellarmasters wine club. I had purchased once but unimpressed by service so chose not to continue. Only have my mobile for delivery purposes but now harrass me with sales calls sometimes trying 3 times a day last 5 months. Have now installed software to block the call so as not to not to bother me anymore. This willi also keep a log so I can make a case for harassment. Give them 10/10 for persistence. Shame they didn't show that kind of passion when I was a client.
