Calls my phone and doesnt leave a message....hoping to find out more information here.

number has called 4 times in the space of week. Never leaves a message. Called it back, getting a recorded message claiming to be calling on behalf of my bank in regards to "current offers on your account".

called the bank on a different number (from their letterhead previously sent to me) and they have no record of anyone from the bank trying to contact me.

Identified himself as calling from my bank re my credit card - seemed legit as he had my transaction details and credit limit. Only asked for my suburb as my identification. Offered to convert my latest transactions into a 1% loan payable over 3 or 6months. Very polite and did not persist when I declined. definitely called from a Call Centre.

same as above but I didn’t answer & no message left.

Caller: Female voice with possible Indian accent

Has called multiple times over the last 2 weeks, no messages left.
Today I answered, they said they were from my particular bank. About some recent transactions and giving more time to pay on them. When I declined to verify who I was by giving my suburb only "not your full address" etc. Offered to have me call the number back and they would make a note on my file. Not calling them back!

(02) 9296 5700 Lady with Filipino accent claiming to be from Bank of Qld calling about credit card interest. Kept banging on that the number she called from sould come up as BOQ on my phone (I never even asked about the phone number) it actually started to piss me off and that means nothing at the end of the day, number spoofing is a thing. I ended up calling the number back and it's a recorded message saying they are from BOQ offering blah blah blah and not to worry it's not urgent.

Called 4 times in a week. Get the hint- blocked, don't want you to call - I won't answer.

Caller purporting to be from m bank regarding Credit Card and additional offers. Asian accent and very hard to understand.
I gave no info and said I'd contact my branch.
Then they ended call.

Called 3 times over the last month, doesn't leave message

Same - had an accent - said she was calling from Bank of Queensland and wanted to talk to me about other 'products". Sounded like she was calling from outside / cafe - lots of wind and background noise. Asked me if I had time to talk to which I answered no, that I was at work and hung up. Called my Bank Manager (who I know personally) - he said that no-one should be calling me - took a screen shot of the number and sent it to him. He has lodged it with their internal Fraud team. My Credit Card has since been removed from Google Pay by BoQ. Coincidence? I think not.

Caller: Claimed to be from my bank which she named

Called to say they had offers for saving money on transactions. She Asked me to only verify my suburb and only my suburb which I did. She then said she could not access the offers from her side and for me to ring a number or email address. I did neither. Despite blocking this number lots of times in recent months it still rings , normally only once and no message.

(02) 9296 5700 indian male claims to be from Bank of Queensland offering better interest on my card. I didn't want to give any details so I ended the call

I think this is re BOQ credit card. They call and call and call. No message is ever left.

Keep getting a missed call but never leaves a message

Phones every 2/3 days. If I answer they just hang up. If I try to phone back t’s a female voice recording about current offers on my bank acounts & actually refers to my current bank.
I’ve now blocked the number.

Keeps calling, and never leaves a message. Like others, came here to see what's doing.

2nd complaint I have submitted about this no. Blocked.

Similar to May 25 2023 call above - female said calling from my bank to discuss if happy with credit card and can they help with any other matters, I responded saying my bank doesn't make unsolicited calls, she got defensive and said we can end call if I was uncomfortable, which I did.
