Had this exact call today, wanting us to purchase printer cartridges...make sure you don't tell them your printer model or they'll send them anyway! We got caught with the same thing years ago and they refused to cancel the order.

talking very quickly and when asked to slow down they did so in a patronising manner. Tried to tell me I had won an item. I tried to communicate with them, ask her who she was. Again fast talking, didnt understand and then said 'so you dont want the item?" and I said no thank you and she hung up.

I answer the phone and get a "how are ya" twice, wanted to speak to business owner. Several times asked what it was he wanted to discuss, would not tell me. after the 3rd request and I wouldn't assist, he hung up. Little known to him, I AM the business owner !

They called my landline during the day, but didn't bother to leave a message.
(FWIW I'm on the 'Do Not Call' register.)

Similar to many of the above excepth he was offering and intial free "multi tool" and needed my delivery address and full name. From there he asked chit chat questions and "sympathised" as his dad owns an earth moving business (nothing related to mine) then straight into a speil about this new truck wash and at the end of this he will produce an invoice for a 15L drum and send it to my address. I had to interrupt to tell him i am not interested, repeated this, then he couldnt get off the phone fast enough.
Under Australia Consumer Law, they engaged in Unsolicited Consumer Agreements because, "the consumer gave his or her contact details to the supplier for one purpose (for example, a competition entry), and the supplier contacts the consumer for another purpose (the negotiation of the sale of goods or services)."

Rang and said they spoke to someone last year about printer cartridge supplies. We pride our selves on supporting the locally owned cartridge supplier.
I asked who had they been talking to, the lady said she had no info from the previous rep. I responded saying thats because you never called. She hung up.

Call starts with "Hi I am from (Insert company name). I am just following up after we spoke to you in January this year. Thanks for filling in our survey about printer cartridges. We would like to send you a free gift for taking part. Blah Blah Blah.
I work for myself and I am the only person to answer my phone. I know for a fact that I never filled in any survey at all. I just won't do them. I usually hang up. She claims as a special for taking part as well in the survey she will send me out 2 x remanurfactured toner cartridges at a 25% discount price and I don't have to pay the invoice until end of january. Cost was $170 plus postage and handling. I said no thank you and she starts on about how they are the highest yeild on any cartridge on the market and I then asks me again for a purchase order number. Again I say NO. then it's I'll speak to my boss. Again I said NOT interested. Then she goes OK I spoke to my boss and he said Now you don't have to pay the invoice till and of march instead. Now can I have that purchase order number. I hung up and blocked the number. Just won't take no for an answer.

Great sales from a new Australia. No accent but in the background you here different accents. He was talking to someone else. Hello Hello Hello is this (business name) I'd work for this chemical company and we have just invented this new product. NO I'M NOT INTERESTED. No its all FREE. NO.............. I put the phone down so I could make a coffee, I could hear him talking to himself. LOL. I picked up the phone he was still talking jibberish. I told him NO not interested, He got upset %^$&%^. I hung up then rang the number straight away. It's a overseas number as the ring tone was longer. It rang out. This twat has rang everyday, the next time he calls, I will take a order and get it sent to the local Police station. They are looking forward to receive a free sample that costs $400 from a scammer.

Called under the pretense of us having left them "great feedback", not bad since i have never heard from them. Claims to be sending a free gift in the next few days. Didnt like the fact that our printers are all under contract, promptly got off the phone as soon as she found out that nugget. The girl i spoke to wasnt rude, and was very well practised at her script.

They left a voicemail accidentally. The leader/mgr abused the sales rep/telemarketer swearing and carrying on. I actually felt sorry for the guy. They are definitely aussies. No accents.
