Caller: "Paypal" Caller rang my number and asked for my husband by name (first red flag - he doesn't us my number for anything) and asked me to get my husband to call him back. It felt a lot like a scam - checked Paypal's Australian number and it is *not* this number.

Caller: PayPal - If you have a PayPal account check your balance. It is highly likely that they are trying to reach out to you to get you to put your account paid. They will not leave a message but will continue to ring until they can speak to you direct.

Makes sense for it to be paypal, though I did not pick up. They called twice this morning. I did get an email from paypal this morning as well. Due to paypal not correctly splitting between paypal balance and bank account as requested for a large payment, my account went into negative (it is all sorted now, I called them 10 days ago and also this morning).

Caller: Paypal I suspect this is PAYPAL. When an account goes into negative(RED) they will try contact you. I never answered a call from them, but resolved it by fixing the Balance of the account.

Three calls today, even when I blocked the number. I have never answered it.
