Caller: Don't know - they hang up before you can answer. These people are a royal pain in the butt. They have just rung 4 times in the last hour, but only let it ring for 5-10 seconds before hanging up. They have called a total of 15 times over the last 2 days, mostly in the evenings. Has to be some sort of scam trying to catch people out.

Answer the call when you can. Talk to the caller. Say you are interested in buying what they want to sell. When it gets time to hand over your card details tell them to hold on and leave your phone (for about an hour- then block the smelly scum bags.... karma)

But they have called me numerous times according to my phone logs. They do not leave a message so there is some doubt in my mind as to who they are.

They called my mobile. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I'm getting calls like these mostly in the evenings so I let them all go to voicemail.
