Argh these guys are calling me numerous times and I am absolutely fed up with the absolute group - same technique of saying they spoke to my husband who gave them all this supposed information. Very pushy and are calling back multiple times on the same night

Absolute group call our business thinking it is a residence every 2nd wk & when I say do not call, not a home no, not interested, they ask for my husband. (what husband!) SAM just rang then again. Indian I think. I dont know why they haven't been shut down or why Telstra can't block certain numbers if you ask them too, like from india!

Just got a call from them. As everyone else says, they are pushy and say they are not selling. I asked where they were from and he said Adelaide. I then asked him to wait and after 30 seconds asked about the groups email address and he hung up. My advice, just ask for their credentials and then say you are checking it while they wait....they don't like that crap and know you won't be buying anything - ever!

Absolute group are based in Canada.
I have emailed them a complaint.
I am on the Do Not Call Register also but it doesn't do any good unless the caller respect this register. The Absolute group callers have no manners and hang up as soon as possible when you say you are not interested.

I'm also on the Do Not Call Register and have received MANY calls from them. Who's going to stop these people!!!

Same as everyone else here; they bluffed about knowing my address etc, wanted to send someone around and would NOT understand the word "No".

I have also received identical harassing calls from the Infogroup. Neither Infogroup nor Absolute Group seemed to care about the do not call register.

Mark from the Absolute Advisory Group ph (08) 8967 1821(Adelaide no.) called and said he spoke to my husband which is totally false especially when he called on my private phone which is never given out to outsiders. He asked me some personal financial questions and then wanted my address to send some advice for tax savings. What a load of rubbish. I asked him to email the info and he said he coudn't. DO not give these people your address or any of your personal info. Also this man lied to me about where he is calling from because my phone showed that it was an overseas call and after denying this he then confessed that he was calling from Asia. I told him never to call again. He said he new my postcode and my personal financial info which is totally creepy. BEWARE he kept talking over me and woudn't listen so best thing to do is hang up.

These people ABSOLUTE GROUP called me approx 8 times every night this week. They have a lot of information on us, I am concerned. HANG UP!

Just had about my 8th call in as many weeks from this "absolute group". Every time have asked to be taken off their register, but they just call again the following week. Same story: "We're not telemarketing..." Tell us that we've already spoken to them and given them some sort of information which is only partly correct. Have tried to give them some misinformation just for the hell of it. Won't they just give up???!!!

Just had a call from this Absolute group and when I asked who this group was they hung up on me. I wouldn't trust them but I would play games with them just to annoy the hell out of them. Give nothing away and only false information if you have to.

We keep getting called by people from Absolute Group. They want to talk about tax benefits.

Again, they state information about us they say they got from my partner, and vice versa.

I can't tell which number they're calling from, though.

A David Williams called - twice now over the space of several months. They place me off against alledged stuff they got from partner....
And do the same to her.

Very pushy subcontinental woman saying she was from the Absolute group which was not found during an internet search

got a call from this number twice. once for a survey and second time asking for house details and availability. says they are from absolute group....someting about tax benifits
