Caller: Unknown

I posted an ad on Gumtree yesterday and this number phoned me the following day. The line was bad so difficult to hear what he was saying. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that it was a genuine caller I agreed to receive a call after 4pm. He called at 3.30pm, so I didn't answer and decided to check the number before answering again. I have now blocked it after reading everyone's comments.

Yes I bumped up my Cleaning business on gumtree last night I have had 6 calls today from this number saying they were going to make it easier for ppls to find me on google

Posted ad on gumtree got the call less than 2 minutes after, not happy Gumtree.

Caller: Guy named Brendan but sounded more like Bachan

Some indian telemarketer with no basic phone etiquette was being pushy. I've a small business which i advertised on gummie and this lad wanted to put it out there on top of google's search engine and didn't know the company's name he was calling from.

I am not really happy with the person that called me from this number
I got 3 missed calls (all within a 5 minute period )
from them and found them to be rude and obnoxious
When I asked them how much it would cost to take on a website they didn’t want me to know I ended up in an argument with this person .I really dislike pushy salesperson that puts everyone in the same category .

Reporting to the communications ombudsman, companies like this have no place in Australia.

Rang back 7 times after being told to stop! Laughing every time yelling come and find us down the phone..

sooooo annoying. keep calling for some business marketing sh*t. If you don't answer it, they changed to other phone number.

Said they were from google two people had a big spin about how they were going to set up my business advertising then told me how much it would cost I then hung up only to check an find out they were scammers I do have an ad.on gum tree but also I am putting an free listing on Google (###scamming bastard)

Trying to sell SEO/Marketing... I told them Im not interested and I have recieved 9 calls in 2 days... finally blocked the number this afternoon.

Listed new business ad on Gumtree and they called straight away. Told him I didn’t want his services. As soon as I hung up, a women called from the exact same number. I just left her on speaker phone for a little bit. I wasted her time instead of them wasting mine!!

I told them to stop calling cause I'm not interested, but they still keep calling. It's very annoying.

If you put your phone number in a Gumtree ad, these people will start calling you within minutes.
