They hung up after i answered but there seemed to be transferring going on in the background, suspect it was a scammer

This was someone selling solar panels

I had a call saying they were from Telstra. Seemed to be a lot of interference in the background so I hung up.

Someone seems to think my name’s Steve - keep getting phone calls where I am called sir, yesterday some dude rang and quite literally had half a conversation about nothing in particular with “Steve” before I could even say hey dude, I don’t know who you think you’ve been talking to, but I’m not Steve.
