I recently got a domain name through Crazy Domains and have had a lot of email spam with offers to build a website. This is just a phone version of their rubbish.

When I answered, no-one was on the line, or they simply hung up, and expect me to call back - not going to happen.

when i picked up, no one responded. i think it might be a spam number when i purchased a domain address.

They're switch2web -answered by an Indian Guy who didn't know why they'd called me.

Recently registered my domain with Route53
Called Jenny from Unknown number offering web-site development services. I asked where they get mu number from, refused to answer. Asked for their ABN - hanged with no response.

5 minutes later called Roger, offering the same. Refused to give ABN number.

When you register a domain, your details are published. That's why a lot of registrars offer that additional "privacy" service for a couple of extra bucks where they register the domain in their name, and hide yours. So you don't get spammed. If you really give a "Fu.......ing Toss about it" spend the extra dosh and solve your problem.

Recently got domain name through Crazy Domains - the amount of people from India calling me to set up my Webpage is insulting

Sad part about all of this is the fact that no-one truly give a Fu.......ing Toss about it.
considering theres so many rules around the privacy act they still get your info!!!!!!!!
and whats with this type of sh*t head being able to have a number that shows on your phone when they call you but as soon as you try calling them back it says its not connected.

Yep - same same! I've used Crazy Domains for years, but not too impressed they are selling their database! :/

They have rung twice in an hour today - they let the phone ring twice then hang up before you can answer - thank goodness they do hang up after reading the posts above :o)

I've had multiple calls from this number too. Also recently purchased a domain name. I just went to the "info" section next to the call on my phone and blocked the number... sometimes they are calling me 4 times a day, it is so annoying!!

They are scammers saying they're website guys to get your information
