Call at the 9am with no one answer and then a recorded message said goodbye and hang up. Then there was another call at 1pm with an Indian woman voice and tried to sell thing to me. I just hang up.

They seems use a random call by a bot at the first time to detect is it a working number and then call again. Beware, don't answer any call from an unknown telephone number by state your name.

I picked up phone no one is there. this has happened several times. SPAM CALL

This number called me and when I answered, they hung up.

hung up as soon as I answered. Called number back with out ringing it was a fleetcard answering system. Added number to our phone and named it SPAM

Rang and then hung up when i answered

Answered this number (they called dour office) and they hung up straight away. Didn't bother calling them back. I always look up the number and saw all these comments.

They call and hang up. Then when you call back and ask them to stop calling they say its a problem with their automatic dialling system and the manager is looking into it. They claim they are a real company, however when googled they appear to be a scam.

I saved the number as "scammer" and ignore any further calls from "scammer".

Is the scam the fact that saying yes on a phone conversation actually amounts to nothing?

They ring and say your name and then hang up. It's a scam to get you to call them back, as you think it's important as they know your name. Then, they either sell you something, or record your mobile number on a data base as valid to sell to other companies or use your mobile number to make international calls.

Called me and asked if it was (my name). I said "speaking" and they hung up! There should be enforceable laws against these time wasters who make harassing calls.

Mine was the same. Happens two or three times a week. blocking the number now

Rings and does not leave a message.
Called it back and it goes to voicemail.

I called back number (02) 9188 8576 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.
