This is a regular occurrence these days . Return missed calls and just scammers. I’m on the do not call register. Apparently that’s a waste of time.

Claimed to represented a company called conorstone. Ask 5 quick questions and said a supervisor will call back which they did 2 hours later. Said they offered some deal. If it sounds too good to be true it is!! Nothing is given out for free unless it is advice. Even then they have a motive.

Got a call today from Cornerstone Research offering a free Google Home Mini after answering some short questions. At the end of the call was told a supervisor would call me back to arrange the home mini. She said about an hour or so would receive the call lets wait and see!

Told me i had to answer 5 quick questions and i'd probably win a google mini. As the questions got more personal about my age and finances i said i had to go and they said someone would ring back. They haven't stopped trying

They mentioned I had recently filled out an online survey and I had won a hundred dollar eftpos card then-asked a lot of questions about my financial situation-home mortgage etc-when I asked why they were asking such questions they merely said they were a large financial company looking to help others and unfortunately couldn't help me!

Didn't catch the name of the business but they said I was unable to attend a seminar but was still entitled to a free 7" pendo tablet. Kept going on about federal government and tax benefits and whatnot. I cut her short, said no thanks and she got a bit aggressive and said ok and hung up.
