I have had several calls from this number. Today's caller had a very thick English (Northern) accent. Could barely understand him. Told him I was on the Do Not Call register and he he ended call.

Says I was in a car accident, or someone in my household was... have not been. Hung up after I started asking questions of where they were from and her name. (02) 9188 2100 was the number I received. They hung up after a minute.

Got a call from (02) 9188 2100 telling me they where calling about the car accident I was on recently, I already knew about this scam from reading about it on Facebook so when the chick finished her BS I let it rip. Telling her shes full of sh*t cause I don't own a car so how the f*cked did I have a car accident. She was not impressed with my comeback at all but it did the job cause she hung up pretty fast.

Thanks for all your messages guys. Wish I had a bottomless block the number list on my old phone. Thankfully I make it a practice to never answer strange numbers without checking here. They never seem to persist more than a few times with me. I must have a bad response record on their database.

Similar to another post, called this morning claiming they were from a company called E Shore/E Shaw and they were phoning about an car accident I was involved in in the past 10 months. I said, no, that's not correct; he apologised and said he would remove my number from their register. Scam

They just rung my hubby, same crap as above, but he told me b4 giving personal details, so when they rung back I got on phone. They hung up, Umm, so I reported to SCAMWATCH

Had a call from a Jamie Peterson from Esure today. Said something about a car accident I had and knowing it was a scam straight away I thought i'd have some fun with him. I asked him lots of questions including where the accident happened and what was the claim number, which he couldn't answer of course. Then I told him that if he googled his phone number it comes up as a scam. He seemed surprised and said he'd google it. He then wanted to know my address so he could come round to give me paperwork or something and I told him I'd never give a scammer my address and hung up on him.

same number called me, unfortunately i had someone run into me a few weeks back, so had to put up with the curry muncher for a few seconds, when he asked for "Mr XXXXXX" I KNEW it was a scam, so told him to feck off and what he could do with various parts of his anatomy, then I said "I HOPE THIS IS BEING RECORDED FOR FECKING COACHING & QUALITY PURPOSES!!!" then hung up :) blocked the number
