On call back, recording announced "Charity Fund Raising Specialists, Apple Marketing Group".

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by moron cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with a callback message being recorded on completion. Accordingly, the above number has been blocked and reported.

It's just the Salvation Army Charity team. Not a spam call, were able to verify themselves through email

Apple Marketing calling for The Salvation Army

I did not answer, but it is the Salvation Army fundraising group, wanting you to sign up for regular monthly direct debit donations.
I support many charities but cannot commit myself to the monthly DD thing. Instead I donate at my pace. I donate every so often - at least once a month to each of them.

Blocked. No headaches. Easy.

I've received two calls today. I answered, but they didn't say anything, and then they hung up. I've blocked the number.

Always leaves a garbled short message on my voice mail. Probable to suck me in to returning their call. Going to block their calls!
