A woman called me and advised me I put my number down for electricity and gas comparison which I haven’t. When I said I wasn’t interested anymore she proceeded to ask me who my provider is. I hung up

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra Head Office - was a scam My internet had been compromised, and they were aware that I was receiving dangerous emails (who isn't, especially these days), and was leading up to trying to get remote access. I was rude to them from the start, but the woman was rude back and persistent, and knew some of my personal details. She even gave me a name and ID No (from Telstra). A hang up resulted in another attempt to call me. Rang Telstra - Fake scam call - fake ID - reassurance, and excellent help, from Telstra. They (scammers) are getting more cunning, persistent and rude...

Had this number call me 3 times between 20/10/21- 22/10/21. They leave silent few second long voicemails. Feels like it may be a robo calls programed to stay on for few seconds after the end of ring to make it seem like a real number for those who don't check voicemails? I personally wouldn't pick up/ give them your voice clips/ let it know your number is live.
