Three calls from this number in last two days. Never leaves a message. Not answered because I don’t recognise the number. At this time of year, it is probably an aid agency (or their surrogate) looking for donations.

Charity call - the lady said Australians are struggling and skipping meals whilst the political class fly overseas to drink champagne.......

Caller: Salvation Army - Crisis Appeal

Call to request signing on as a Crisis Support doner, which monthly tax-deductible donations to The Salvation Army.
They have my number because I make annual donations in May, for Red Shield Appeal.

Caller: It’s the Salvation Army

Lady said she was thanking me for donation but wanted my mail address which I declined to give her. She did quote my acct number with salvos, my phone number, and email so think it’s genuine but don’t think it is a good idea in these days of scams. I only answered because waiting on an important call !!!
Think they should give it away, too many older people getting scammed.

Said they were seeking donations for the Red Shield Appeal (which when Googled was supposed to have been in May). Offered to send a link for a donation. Be careful - seems like a scam

I'm assuming it's a charity call from previous comments left. I blocked the number, but see from my call log they call at least daily at different times. Sometimes twice a day calls

Multiple calls - calling every day, never leave a message.

Didn’t leave any message.

Called for 1/2 a ring then hung up on me, I called back to hear a recorded message for Apple Marketing.

Multiple calls from them in the last week or two. Picked up once but no one one the other side. Never leaves a message.

Charity call. The lady told me the political elite are destroying families with high interest rates.
