St George Bank they only ring with this number when you request a code transaction on a St George Bank account number this is not spam.

Caller: claiming to be St George Bank

Rang many times from 7am on landline and mobile the morning after I had used the secure code to pay a new tradesman.
St George Bank assured me it was a scam. This number looked familiar and has come up on callerID previously.

If you received this call and were not expecting it then either someone has listed the wrong number against their account or someone is accessing your st goerge account with out your knowledge. I would suggest you contact the bank thru normal channels and inform them of the problem. not via this number as it is an outgoing automated service with no human to answer your call.

Called serve tal times. No one spoke, just hung up. Have blacklisted

And they left a meaaage prior to that advising me that I requested a secure code and another voicemail stating that I requested to register for voice id verification .

I have to disagree. Called me on my office phone and I don't have a St George account. I didn't answer but the automated message stated it was a St George automated service. There is no reason for St George to phone me, I'm not a customer. Be careful everyone.

This number rang because I needed to add a new payee to my internet banking to provide a verification number it is not a scam is not telemarketing it is simply St George Bank verifying you are the person who you say you are whether it be adding a new payee or transferring large sums of money to another account that's not yours no need to Blacklist and block number
