Calls and hangs up with no message. Most 02 913 73 numbers are scam numbers. Why do Telcos allow such numbers to be sold and then be able to multi dial.

This number keeps calling me but never leaves a message. I don't know who it is, so I don't answer. I then get a call from a similar number (02) 9137 3147, and same thing...rings out and never leaves a message. I suspect this is a scam as anyone who knows me, knows to leave a message or I won't call back.

Male voice asked if my surname was….. and I replied ‘Yes’ they then hung up. Sounds like some kind of scam attempting to confirm a name and number.
