Claimed to have set up a meeting with me through someone called Liv. Total lie. It’s a mob trying to get their foot in the door pretending there’s a meeting with the IT Manager, but what IT Manager wants to deal with a company that’s clearly unethical and untruthful?

Cold Call to book with one of our employees with a meeting, on behalf of her manager Ray Sweeney. She pretended she had prior contact with our employee, and insisted we had looked into their IT services. We are an IT company so doesn't make sense. She should do more research prior to making these calls as she made herself look a fool.

"We're not selling anything. just want to chat." tried to imply they already had contact with staff at our company and were following up. not true. when will companies learn not to start their business relationship with a lie?

Called work phone, I said I could not hear her very well (I do that often to throw them off if I am sure it is not a genuine number) did not understand what they wanted, but they hung up on me. Went on here and confirmed for me it was a cold call. Not impressed with them whatsoever, and even if I was interested in their company, I would not touch them with a barge pole.

Call pretending to be confirming appointments that they haven't made. Persistent calls for a two week period, then they drop off.
